sea mother eat me
i want to remember
the spill of the mud
the prayer for breath
my eyes to pearl
skin slips a seaweed
coral bones
bring me to kneel


receive the rain
a morsel of
the heavy mound i am
fill me creature
salty daemon
fire on the water
claws of the sea
